5 Chefs to improve your home cooking during lockdown

While the world may be confronted with a pandemic and spending more time in isolation, it is more important than ever to find joy in the little things in life - such as experimenting with new recipes to make mealtimes inventive and fun. To help you out, we have rounded up our team's favourite foodies and chefs to follow on social media to improve your home cooking game during the coronavirus lockdown.

1. Massimo Bottura, Kitchen Quarantine - Instagram Live

Michelin-starred chef, Massimo Bottura is close to our hearts for many reasons, including his role in helping Parmigiano Reggiano recover after the devastating earthquake hit northern Italy in 2012, destroying thousands of Parmesan wheels. Now he is doing his part in putting a smile on people's faces by hosting daily #kitchenquarantine cooking demonstrations on Instagram at 8pm CET every day.

Make sure you check them out for some delicious recipe ideas with Parmigiano Reggiano!

2. Alexandra Dudley, Cook-Along Takeover on London on the Inside - Instagram

If you're looking for dinner plans you can make indoors, food writer and podcast host, Alexandra Dudley has your back! She will be hosting a kitchen show on Thursday 26th March on the London on the Inside Instagram page, where she will demonstrate how to make a polenta with mushrooms and berlotti beans.

If you can't make this one, keep an eye on her Instagram page for more delicious recipes the whole family will love.

3. Tieghan Gerard, Half Baked Harvest - Blog & Instagram

We may be unable to travel, but you do the next best thing by trying out Tieghan Gerard's recipes from around the world. Sharing healthy meals using pantry staples on her Instagram page, Tieghan is definitely one to follow if you don't feel like battling your way around the supermarkets.

4. Pasta Evangelists, Pasta Masterclass - Instagram Live

Having worked with Pasta Evangelists before, we can definitely vouch for their quality ingredients and pasta expertise! During the UK lockdown, Chef and pastaia, Roberta D'Elia will be moving her popular pasta-making masterclasses to Instagram at 12pm every Wednesday - Friday. We can think of worse ways to spend your lunch break while working from home!

5. Food Stories - Instagram

Craving comfort food? Helen Graves' Instagram page is all you need for delicious (and often indulgent) recipes to make at home during the lockdown. With dishes such as baba ghanoush, spinach & cheese pasta bake, and croquettes with Parmigiano Reggiano, you'll feel like you're eating restaurant quality food from the comfort of your own living room.
